Alamogordo, New Mexico's White Sands National Monument gave me quite an amazing adventure as I hiked a 5.6 mile Alkali trail through the ever changing sand structures. The winds change the sand formations continuously, as if erasing an artist easel, readying it for the desert inhabitants to create their art with their footprints.
