Description:
Death Valley National Park has a lot of versitility. For me, as a photographer, it was a treasure everywhere I looked and hiked. My visit on this round gave me the opportunity for an incredible sunrise dune shoot. As always, I love to experience the land and become a part of her as I make pictures.
In saying this, I hiked from my car and out into the dunes... Much further than I thought. And as I looked to come back the perspective is quite different, ... At 9am the cold pre dawn had turned blazingly hot and my feet burning from the sand over filling my shoes.. But I made it back to my car as if never doubting for even a moment that I might be in question of being lost.
